Humanitarian Projects

Catfish Farming

The catfish farming project is an effort to generate additional income for the madrasah and provide a cheap source of protein to the community. The demand for freshwater fish such as catfish is increasing, especially in Marawi City. Students and teachers will be trained in livestock management as part of the TVET program.

A livestock pond has been established near the madrasah, facilitating the implementation of the project. The proceeds from the sale of catfish will be recorded and used to support the madrasah's operations.

Orphan Donation Project

The civil war that took place in Marawi City in 2017 caused great destruction and loss of life, including many among Muslims. As a result, many children became orphans and lost their homes. The Philippine government then provided temporary placement in Sagonsongan village, Marawi City, for these children to live with their mothers or immediate family.

Through this project, the organizers aim to instill sympathy, love and concern for the less fortunate. In addition, this project also aims to make orphans happy, instill gratitude for the blessings bestowed upon them, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among fellow believers on God's earth.

Aqiqah

The Aqiqah Kenduri Project involves the slaughter of an aqiqah cow and a feast program with villagers at a mosque in Barangay Abaga, Baloi. The slaughtered cow will be used in the feast, while the profits obtained from the aqiqah will be used to buy cooking ingredients and make preparations for the feast.

The main objective of this project is to build togetherness and strengthen the relationship between Malaysian Muslims and the local population. In addition, it aims to channel da'wah in a peaceful manner, gaining the support of the local community for the opening of a new madrasah under the management of YAR and CGM.

Madrasah Student Aid

The Madrasah Student Assistance Project aims to help ease the burden of financially disadvantaged madrasah students. Assistance will be channeled in the form of basic necessities such as food, clothing, study equipment, and housing to ensure they can continue their studies comfortably and focused. Through this initiative, the organizers hope to instill a spirit of concern among the community and provide opportunities for more students to acquire religious knowledge more completely. It also aims to produce a generation of religiously literate people who are able to make positive contributions to society in the future.
